Has anyone stayed at the River Kwai Resort Hotel in Thailand this year?

I am taking other half on a holiday and would like to know what the resort is like before I book. Plan to visit the monks and see the tigers go on an elephant ride vist the elephant sancuary and tiger Island also do the river kwai bridge etc.
