Beachfront resorts/hotels in or around Cape Town, South Africa?

Would like to have an adventurous, yet luxurious stay in or close to Cape Town with my wife and daughter, preferably a resort near a nice beach...Beachfront resorts/hotels in or around Cape Town, South Africa?
There are numerous sites that give you details of hotels and resorts in Cape Town from 5 star luxury to comfortable accommodation. It really depends on what you want and or can afford.

The V%26amp;A Waterfront Hotel at the CT Waterfront is extremely luxurious or you can try the Holiday Inn at the Waterfront. But there are cheaper hotels, like the Holiday Inn, Protea, City Lodge etc and literally hundreds of holiday accommodation and resorts to choose from.

If you really want to impress the wife then there is even the Mount Nelson.

Other places along the coast line that are really beautiful are, inter alia, Camps Bay, Hout Bay, Simonstown.

Here is one site of many relative to accommodation and you are able to make bookings on line.

In terms of what to do in Cape Town take a look at this site, once again one of many.

I recommend that you spend a little time googling on the internet to find exactly what you are looking for...it is all there.

Adventure %26amp; Luxury? That sounds like the Cape Town I know!

Some of the more popular areas that I would recommend include Camps Bay, or the V%26amp;A Waterfront.

Camps Bay in particular, is amazing. It has been likened to St Tropez on more than one occasion. There are beautiful villas, apartments %26amp; hotels overlooking white beaches %26amp; Turquoise Ocean, set against a mountain backdrop. Table Mountain is a 5 minute drive, the Aquila Game Reserve is just over an hour away, and the Cape Winelands are reachable in less than 40 minutes.

If you are looking for a self catering apartment, I would recommend Cloud 9, which is right on the beachfront. www.capetown-direct.com/camps-bay/cloud-鈥?

and if you are looking for a hotel, I would recommend the Bay Hotel: http://www.cometocapetown.com/accommodat...

The V%26amp;A waterfront is also fantastic, but you won't be on the beach.

I would say Camps Bay is the place for you!
Cape Town does not really have any resorts as such but we do have many great hotels, have a look at http://www.capestay.co.za or http://www.savenues.com for accommodation
