We're vacationing with our three year old soon. We'd like to visit Palm Springs/Palm Desert area. What's a good resort with a kiddie pool, etc?Family friendly resort/hotel in Palm Springs area?
Considering the type of traveler that goes to PS, you are going to be very hard pressed to find a hotel with a kiddie pool.
To be honest, I hope you aren't going to go there in the summer. The main attraction about PS is that it has wonderful weather in the fall, winter, and spring. Starting in mid-may and June, you start to get scorching tempuratures, which don't cool down below triple digits until mid- to late September.
With that said, I think the Shiloh Inn would fit the bill. Nice place,nothing too fancy, and I have always liked the way they run their hotels.Family friendly resort/hotel in Palm Springs area?
Marriott Rancho Las Palmas is a nice resort. My family and I have met there before for Father's Day, and I've been there for a conference and gold trips. They have a section of bungalows that are priced well, include up to the 3 bedrooms, is on the golf course, and have full kitchens. I can't recall if they have an actual kiddie pool, but my young nieces and nephews all swam with no concern.
my personal favorite hotels at palm springs are Spa Resort and Casino, and Hyatt Suites
