Are they really worth the price. i don't want to be in a ugly, dirty motel. i will pay to be comfortable and safe and to have a great vacation. But debating on 1 of the DL HOTELS or like a Shearton hotel. Any suggestions?Anyone stay at any of the disneyland resort hotels in anaheim?
The Disney hotels are very nice, clean, well maintained and top notch service. Plus guests of the hotels get early admission into the park, there is a shuttle service to and from the parks and you can have all your park purchases sent back to your room and if it's mid day, you are tired and need a break, the hotel is right there.Anyone stay at any of the disneyland resort hotels in anaheim?

The BEST hotel is the Grand Californian. Nothing beats it. You have your own entrance to California Adventure. Has an AMAZING pool area.
Disneyland hotel is the original, but cannot beat the GC. Also a very cool themed pool area, but a bit further from the entrance.
Paradise Pier. Clean, comfortable, Disney. It's OK.
If you don't want to stay at a Disney property, check out the Howard Johnson and the Candy Cane Inn. Nice places, give you the most value, and you can walk to the entrance easily. Beware of some places that say they are across the street, but are over 1/2 mile from the entrance.
