Is it some cultural difference, because the behavior of Russians and other Eastern Europeans in hotels in Turkey or Egypt can only be called rude:
- treating hotel employees like inferior human beings
- ';reserving'; sunbeds with towels but not showing up all day
- piling up food from the buffet on plates, only to leave them on the table uneaten
- pushing ahead in waiting lines
- drinking heavily and making a lot of noise in the evening
Sure, there are other people who behave like this, but when it happens in your hotel, it seems like Russians are involved most of the time. Why do Russians behave so badly in resort hotels?
The british 'lager louts' are notorious....they are obnoxious in the extreme. Some Hotel/Apt complexes in tourist destinations have refused to do deals with some British tour operators....some of the German 'package holiday brigade' aren't too far behind them either.
It's a certain mentality that is very prevalent with some people who book package holiday deals and is not confined to any one nationality. Why do Russians behave so badly in resort hotels?
Yeah its true.
I think they do that just to show superiority upon other tourists. That's the only reason I can find for this.
It's in their culture to drink a lot and then get mad and act like strong people.
