What exactly would be some of the routine daily tasks of an ';entry level engineer'; at a luxury resort hotel ?

I am getting ready to start a job as an ';Entry Level Engineer'; for one of the major U.S. hotel chains, this is at one of their luxury waterfront resort hotels. Can someone who has worked in this capacity please tell me what I can expect as a daily part of my job? What are the most common tasks, what do you do on an average day, and are there any things I can do to prepare myself for starting this new job? You check the elecvtrical items to see if working properly. Then you check the pool for cleanliness. Also answer peoples complaints about electric %26amp; a/c in the rooms.
