We are planning to take our kids to the Disney World and would like a Clean and Tidy hotel maybe an Embassy Suite Hotel or something nice like that in the Area. I guess a nicer quality hotel in the area. It will only be for 3-4 nights only. Any recommendations would be appriciated. Thank YouPlanning a holiday to Orlando, would like to know what the best hotel is apart from the Disney Resort Hotels?
If price isn't an issue I recommend the Gaylord Palms. It's less than two minutes from Disney and absolutely gorgeous!Planning a holiday to Orlando, would like to know what the best hotel is apart from the Disney Resort Hotels?
My wife and I have stayed at 2 nice suite hotels near Disney in the past year that would be worth your consideration:
1) The Hawthorne Suites (formerly the Savona Suites). Pluses for this one include location 1/2 mile from the east gate of Disney (with many restaurants, a Winn Dixie grocery store, a Walgreens, and shopping nearby) free wireless internet in your room, free hot continental breakfast with bacon and eggs, a full kitchen, pool, hot tub, game room and basketball court for the kids, and on-site gift store and Disney ticket sales.

2) Double Tree Guest Suites. Pluses include a location just inside the east gate of Disney near Downtown Disney, pool, hot tub, playground, splash pool, and game room for the kids, chocolate chip cookies at check in, very comfortable sweet dreams bed, and on site restaurants, convenience store, and Disney ticket sales.

I recommend the Sheraton Safari Resort located about 2 miles from Walt Disney World on Apopka Vineland Rd., just off the I-4. It is a wonderful hotel and your kids will love it!
I recommend purchasing your park tickets from AAA, if you are a member, or at your local Disney Store. You'll receive a discount by purchasing at either.

Have a great time!
I would suggest renting a condo. I did on my last trip and it was fabulous. We had two bedrooms, a kitchen, laundry facilities and it was the same price as a hotel room and SO worth it!
Hampton Inn Orlando-International Airport hotel of Florida, located off SR 436, one mile north of Orlando International Airport. Area attractions include the Florida Mall, Sea World, Universal Studios, Walt Disney World, and Dixie Stampede.
These hotels are very nice for the price and come with a very extensive complimentary breakfast (which will save you $$$ not having to eat at Disney which is expensive). Many rooms have micros and fridges, computer hookups, etc. I have stayed in them on several occasions and they are very good for the price.

My suggestion: Rent a home. You get a clean, new home - most with a private pool - for same as you will spend on the hotel. There are hundreds available for 1BR and up.
Here's couple of links with listings. I've done this many times and will never go back to a resort hotel when I go to the Disney area in Florida. Enjoy your stay.
The ritz is awesome to stay in as well. Its not too far from the park and is just the best.
Stay in a hotel off of Rt. 192, which is in Kissimmee, FL. Disney is only about 10 to 20 minutes from this area. There are a ton of hotels and giftshops, as well as restaurants in this area. Example: Ramada Inn. Check out this website: floridakiss.com.
Hampton Inn has some very nice places to stay down there. You can get discount coupons for nice places in that area as well.
definetelty rodeway inn on international drive
Embassy Suites is good... I stayed at Homewood Suites right there at the entrance to Downtown Disney... Homewood Suites has a manager's reception in the evenings with free food and beer and wine...
but it was really close to a cool pizza buffet place call CiCi's so the kids and I went there almost every evening after the park....
